Department of Pharmacology

The department aims to:
 
  • Qualify scientific cadres in the fields of pharmacology to contribute to the development of the profession by encouraging scientific research.
  • Teach the basic principles of pharmacology to bachelor’s degree pharmacy students.
  • Enable students to handle medications and understand everything related to drugs, their side effects, and interactions with other medications, as well as encourage students to conduct laboratory experiments on laboratory animals.
  • Teach toxicology in a way that allows students to learn about toxins, how to eliminate them, and knowledge of their antidotes.
