OBJECTIVES
Preparing specialist cadres contributing to enrichment of scientific research and achievement of the following:
- processing Sudan wealth of plants into Pharmaceutical compounds.
- Manufacture of drugs from raw materials in Sudan.
- Work as a Community Service in consultancy with interested individuals, providing Pharmaceutical information and participating in society cultural events.

Introducing and acquiring experiences on basis of best education practices for all students ,giving comprehensive information in applied pharmaceutical Chemistry supporting drugs and narcotics in addition to new design, analysis and development.
OBJECTIVES
- Teaching of pharmaceutical chemistry courses including pharmaceutical organic chemistry, pharmacy chemistry course and analytical chemistry for BA SC presented by the teaching staff through accredited academic plan.
- Conducting supported internal and external university researches in the field of specialisation.

Seeking Community Service through provision of pharmaceutical Information and qualifying graduates to be able to interact effectively with local and international communities.
OBJECTIVES
- Creating an appropriate environment for clinical training and practice during the students’ university education.
- Qualifying students to be effective members in health care equip them with scientific expertise related to the drugs and fundamental training in pharmaceutics, first aid, general pharmacies training and leading them to develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Providing students with scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, principles of pharmacy business, economic pharmaceutical, pharmacy regulatory issues and quality as well as promoting practices related to pharmacy career with skill and professionalism.

5. DEPARTMENT OF TOXINS &PHARMACOLOGY.
VISION
Pioneering and distinction in teaching, medicinal research and scientific competency development of graduates and motivate them to be creative to the extent that makes of the department as an outstanding centre internationally and a reliable reference in the field of medicines and toxins.
MISSION
Providing graduates with a distinguished educational experience and research in order to contribute effectively in profession.
OBJECTIVES
- Training of academic cadres in the field of Pharmacology so as to contribute in pharmacy professional development by encouraging scientific research and discovery of new drugs.
- Teaching of Pharmacology syllabi and Fundamental Principles of Toxins. In addition to other related sciences like Forensic, physiology, biochemistry and zoology.
- Setting regulatory rules in Pharmacology and its branches where students receive lectures in Anatomy &Histology with extensive information about the anatomical structure of the human body besides, Physiology and introducing scientific background of syllabi that will be taught in Pharmacology. The objective is introducing to students description of different body parts functions and dysfunctions that develop during disease.
- Pharmacology helps students to understand the impact of medicines and their multiple uses, how drugs function, perceiving therapeutic effects of drugs and the degree of their toxicity, side effects and banning, in addition to their interactions with other medicines.
- Toxicology specialises in studying the harmful effects of drugs and other chemicals, how these substances metabolise to be poisonous, when to prevent them and measures of controlling poison complications.
